Where do these dogs come from?
- Many of the dogs have come off of the euthanasia list at different animal control centers in Arizona. We also have dogs that were abandoned or surrendered by their owners.
Are the dogs healthy?
- We evaluate the dogs when they come into the rescue. We treat any health issues they may have and vaccinate all of them. All dogs are spayed/neutered, have all of their vaccines and are microchipped. They have all been seen by a vet before they are adopted.
Can we tour your kennel?
- Unfortunately, for liability reasons, we can not allow the public to enter the kennel. However, all of our available dogs are on this site and we will be more than happy to show them to you.
I can get a dog for free from Craigslist. Why should I pay you an adoption fee?
- Our adoption fees help to keep the rescue going so that we can save more dogs. Unlike strangers on the internet, we care about the welfare of our dogs and the families who adopt them. Therefore, we will always be upfront about any issues they might have and take special care to match each dog with the most compatible family. It's a win-win situation for our dogs and our adopters.
What is your adoption process?
- We have tried to make the adoption process as simple as possible.
- Visit the our dog pages.
- If you see a dog that you want to add to your family, email us. We will discuss the adoption fee and set up an appointment for you to meet with your new best friend. We will also answer any questions you may have.
- You can then come to the rescue and meet the dog or dogs you want to see.
- If you decide to adopt, you will need to fill out an adoption application.
